Is Your Prophetic Ministry on Track?

Do you want to be a famous prophet? Someone that is known for their prophetic words and insights? I must tell you that this is something that you have to shake from your spirit. Prophets should never wish to have fame for what they do. This is a clear sign of your own personal insecurities. You have to ask God to take this away from you. Allow your prophetic work to be done in private so that you don’t take credit for God’s work. All of what God does is for your own good and for the good of others. When you seek to be recognized for your prophetic words, you are actually forgetting that God is someone that you can talk to on your own. God has a lot to say about prophesy and we must try to stop hurting ourselves and instead give our hearts and our lives to Jesus more deeply.

When a prophet decides to take credit for their work, it causes a separation to come between you and God. You are in fact trying to take the glory in place of God and that is something that has to stop. If this sounds like you, then I suggest you ask God to help you to stop looking for fame and popularity. God knows you inside and out. He will reward you for your good deeds in time. You must make sure that you never give credit to yourself for anything that God is doing.

People rely on prophets for many different reasons. Some people may not even consider you to be a prophet and may even call you a phony or a lunatic. With maturity, you will learn that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about you. It’s only about what God thinks of you and that is all that should ever matter to you. Remember that God is always in charge and you have a great calling upon your life to be of service to others. You have to make sure that you understand your own prophetic calling so that you can fully help others.

In order for you to understand your own prophetic calling, you are going to have to walk with it step by step. God will reveal to you step by step what he wants you to do. When you are finally doing it, he will provide for your needs and give you the blessings that you need in order to fulfill your calling. You can help yourself by helping others to learn more about you and about your ministry. Ask God every day if you are on track with what He has in store for you. If you are not on track, then change your ways.
